About NHIA

NHIA Board of Directors 2008 — 2009

In keeping with NHIA’s mission to engage all key stakeholder groups, the association’s Board of Directors has made the determination that it must restructure itself to best represent the complete variety of different sized providers within our changing field.

As a result, the traditional nine-person Board was expanded to 12, beginning with the 2008-2009 term. Six new representatives were elected to the NHIA Board, with three designated to replace members whose terms have expired. 

In addition, the title NHIA President of the Board has been changed to Chairman of the Board, and Vice President has been changed to Vice Chairman. These size and language modifications are strategically designed to bring NHIA in line with more traditional trade association structures.  For more on NHIA bylaws changes, or to read the bylaws, click here.
