Faculty Biographies
Anna Nowobilski-Vasilios PharmD
Anna Nowobilski-Vasilios is Senior Vice President of Care Management Services for Option Care, Inc., in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. In this role she is responsible for the administrative oversight of Clinical Services, Human Resources, Marketing, and Program Management departments. She is also OptionCare’s Residency Director and Continuing Education Administrator. Formerly, Dr. Nowobilski-Vasilios served OptionCare as the Vice President of Clinical Services, Senior Director of Program Development, National Director of Pharmacy, and Director of Franchise Implementation.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy in 1979 from the University of Illinois, a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) in 1993 from the Keller Graduate School of Management and a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in 2000 from Midwestern University. Dr. Nowobilski-Vasilios is a Rho Chi Scholar, board-certified in nutrition support pharmacy, and a Fellow of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. She is an active member in the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN), the National Home Infusion Association (NHIA), American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), the Illinois Council of Health-System Pharmacists (ICHP), and the Polish American Pharmacists’ Association. She has participated in numerous presentations, and has published articles on the subjects of home infusion therapy, specialty pharmacy, nutrition support, and interdisciplinary collaboration. She has faculty appointments at Midwestern University and the University of Illinois. Her experience includes 27 years of pharmacy practice, 21 years in home infusion therapy and specialty pharmacy services, and 13 years at OptionCare.
