Richard Goodstein is a Washington lawyer who has seen public policy issues unfold from many perspectives. Mr. Goodstein graduated from Wesleyan University with honors in 1974 and from Georgetown University Law Center magna cum laudein 1978. By that time he had already worked for United States Senators Abraham Ribicoff and Hubert Humphrey. Mr. Goodstein then clerked for Judge William B. Bryant, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.
Mr. Goodstein worked at the distinguished Washington law firm of Wilmer, Cutler, Pickering, Hale & Dorr and then as Vice President for National Government Affairs of a large company in the environmental services industry. Mr. Goodstein is now Washington Representative for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., and for Air Products Healthcare, one of the most prominent companies in the home medical equipment field. Mr. Goodstein has been an active advocate on behalf of Air Products Healthcare in Congress and with the administrators of the Medicare program. Mr. Goodstein also appears regularly on the Fox News Channel, MSNBC, and other TV networks to offer political and legal analysis. |
